Who we are

A Heart 4 People Farm (AH4P) honors the legacy of four nurturing, fiercely compassionate women who exemplified care, giving, and community. Established in 2023 on a half-acre plot at the Watkins Regional Park Urban Farm Incubator in Upper Marlboro, MD, AH4P grows fresh produce primarily for elders and those who cannot feed themselves. AH4P also operates a Fort Lincoln site in Ward 5, supported by a 2023–2024 Chesapeake Bay Trust award to distribute free produce to 1,100 seniors.

Due to the increase in food insecurities, our monthly assistance has grown and is expected to grow by 4-10 families each month, between the two programs. These increasing needs can only be met with the continued support by people like you and the “A Heart 4 People Farm.”
